Just came home from sending mum and ivan off to melb.

Dad n iz brought me to some ulu carpark to drive..i think i totally scared the shit out of them. Hahaha never did reverse before..so with the gear in reverse position and my dad saying “now go forward”, i totally just stepped on the accelerator and the car went backwards + loud screams from my dad and i. HAHA and the next thing i knew, i was chased out of the drivers seat..with much whining of course.

So now its only Iz,dad and i in the house. Feels abit weird. Shall go back to mariah mode and start washing the clothes + sweeping the floor. Haha.

Quite upset that weird things have to happen when mum’s in melb.sigh. I know i’ve still got PRISSY though..haha.. its gonna be a long-long day tmr. So many thoughts in my head that i’m just pushing aside because i’m not ready for anything. *freaks out*

Havent been blogging much these few days and last week was just a mad rush studying for soci paper which probably isnt going to turn out so well anyway. Haha

 Cheryl was over for nearly the whole week while her mum was in vietnam for some office retreat. Suddenly feels a tad weird having someone in the room after ele left. Hmm. Ivan usually just sleeps in the room but other than that he’s hardly around in the room. But anyways, it was great having her around even though i was out most of the time! Sorry! Friday night was awesome when we went “night cycling/skate-scooter-ing/blading” with ivan too. Was super fun because it was AT NIGHT and there were hardly any cars and pple ard. Cycled/bladed from Sengkang to Hougang and back. Hanging at the coffeeshop at Buangkok..we were the coolest pple ever. HAHA. Totally crashed when i came back.

HSM3 with the cell on sat before church. Its soooo not a kidsy show anymore luh! More kissing scenes, “scantily” dressed actresses, mini skirts and all. The cinema was packed with kids and more kids, felt super old there luh..And the funniest thing was Chris was watching the same show at the same time with his sunday school kids , but just that we were at different cinemas. What a coincidence luhh! Headed down to church for practice and Jon came to “visit” the church. LOL Janice’s dad was preaching! Was quite weird cos i kept thinking of Janice while listening and looking at her dad preach, cos SOMEHOW they really look alike. Hehhhh!

Sunday was spent at ECP with the some of the youths.

Really thank God for the awesome awesome weather at ECP that morning + aftn. i think my arms are really dark now. Hahaha but the face…erm still as white as ever. Blah… but cycling and blading in one day is torture luhhh! It was actually the first time i was renting blades at ECP and blading there..super crowded!!! Thank God i didnt fall on my bum or anywhere man..phew! Was telling sirui how i would only be willing to fall on my knees, cos if i fell on any other places, it would leave major scars and scratches!! Haha so pathetic luh.

Finally going to meet girlfriend tonightttttt..after ages of trying to find a day/night that we can meet up conviniently. Haha and thank you chris tan for being so patient and for “volunteering” to come down to sengkang cos i THOUGHT i lost my ez-link card. HEHE.

Mum and Ivan leaving for melbourne tmr night. Gah..home alone. HAHA but tuition’s probably going to take up most of this week, so it’ll just be one more week before they get home. Quite upset that i won’t get to go to aussie to visit ele this year..blahhh. Oh wells, “right time in the right season”. Haha

Inability to contain such excitement. LOL!! super duper uber whackily over-joyed!

Ivan is so cute luh (: The 3 of us spent friday evening/night together-shopping and staying overnight at Copthorne King ( complimentary voucher. hehe) It was enjoyable! Cosy room was really small with only 2 single beds which we somehow joined together. Stayed up to watch Survivor..which is really rare that we do that. Ele, we did miss you! We’ll try to do this when u’re back okay! miss you loads.

First time driving todayyy!!

i was super super happy man.

So today went awesomely well, compared to ytd’s “incidents”. *SECRET*

Anyways, driving was awesomeee! even though i mounted the curb 1/2  4-5 times during my left turns.

Plus i got a wonderfulll instructor.

He told me his entire life story while we were driving at ubi circuit.

Super hilarious!

Really really really looking forward to friday’s lessson! WHHEEEEEEEE!!

And omgoodness, 5 mins of arcade-ing at PS left me high the whole day.

SEE, i’m easily contented.

 Am in Tay Eng Soon Library again! Overslept this morning and reached school an hour late for lesson so decided to just go in after the break for the next 1.5 hrs. Haha i rmb the last time i overslept was in J1. I was actually scared to go to school because i would have to see the OM. Sucha coward, but that OM was super scary and fierce okay.

Anyways, i’m off to lessons soon. then Vivooooooooo! BYE

Saturday’s service was absolutely fantastic! Kicked off the series on “Engaging Evangelism” and it was such an awesome response from the congregation. Its fantastic to just see the way the presence of God can move when His people’s hearts are so open to receive what He wants to say to them. Thank God for an awesome service on saturdayy! Wheee!

While we were having music prac before service, i was just super lethargic and the super hot weather didnt help either. So naturally, i felt abit out-of-sorts during practice, and kinda felt like everything was messy. But then as soon as that thought of “everything sounds messy” came in, immediately i felt a tugging in my spirit that kinda questioned what i was thinking. And i just told God to take control of the worship, and it doesnt have to do with i think or feel, cos ultimately THIS IS HIS HOUSE. He takes charge of what it going on, not us.

JonWong was just telling me sth similar that happened at his service today. And we kinda concluded that probably every worship team in church faces this issue and we have to be aware of striking a balance btw being professional about things ( putting our best in serving Him), and being clear of who we’re playing for and the main reason why we even stepped up to play our instruments in church. Such a fine line that has to reach a BALANCE! wheee!

Anyways, dinner-ed with the Old-ER pple last night at NYDC! Brought a date along since i didnt wanna be so extra as the only one not with a “partner”. (irene+eujin, jo+roy, allison+arden). So anyhow, its been some time since i ate at NYDC, so i enjoyed my 3 amigos. heh company was awesome as usual! totally love this buncha people! They never fail to make me the butt of all jokes, but more importantly, they’re the ones who shower me all the concern and loveeee!

Hmm..Gonna have quite a busy week ahead! Meeting many many people and having tuition everyday again. Hahah but yup! looking forward to meeting all me friends again! Friends = you will never ever get sick of seeing them. So guess it figures how prissy is my best friend. i’ve seen her for 18 years (OMGOONDESS, its been 18 YEARS!!!!), and i never grow sick of seeing herr. sighhh! so romantic. LOLLLL

I’m finally gonna start my practical lessons for driving!!!! Tuesday tuesday tuesday!! I hope I have a nice instructor, not some lao kok kok one that will fall asleep while i’m driving. And i hope he lets me drive on my first lesson!! *sense the excitement* whee!

P.S the date i was referring to happens to be my 12 yr old lil brother. Ha-ha-ha. cheap thrill i know!

Hello Ele, i don’t care if we both look somewhat giganto in this photo (or maybe its only you. Hehe) but i miss you alotttt! Especially after watching “Ghost Whisperer” on TV. I think its the new season-Jennifer Love Hewitt has given birth (was she even pregnant?? she was right!). Yea, so i suddenly rmbed how we would both end up in mum’s room at 10pm sharp to watch Ghost whisperer, while they were having cell in the living room. Then halfway through the show, we’ll go outside to watch it on big screen when they finish cell. And you’ll always be the scardy cat. Heh heh. But anyhow’s, i miss you luh! Haha. I’ll pon school (which i NEVER do) when you come back, so we can binge on good food (which u’ll bring back from aussie!) and watch disney-channel all day (even tho i seriously think that channel is crap). We’ll go do facial again..erm.. but not at chinatown again. That place was out to destroy our naturally pretty faces.

Anyhows, congrats on the fantastic results for HOI! make every subject ur favourite, then you’ll definitely be scoring above 90% for everything! Take care babe!

Highlight of the night : Being called a bitch by some perv at HOUGANG after not responding to his wolf-whistles. WHAT IS THE WORLD COMING TO? Or maybe i’m just very confined to my room. REALLY? Hmm.

Anyway, the day was well spent with JonWong (YAY you have a name!), going to SKS to check out materials and books! And thanks for the book Friend! Hehh. Lunched at some tomato place at Plaza Sing before catching MAMA-MIA! @ 2.20pm (:

AWESOME show! Cant believe I nearly striked that show off my list of “movies i wanna watch”. I wonder whyyy. Yes, the show is amazing. Greece setting was fantastic and it reminded me of the show “The travelling pants”. Haha one of my favourite girly-girl shows. Anyway, i’m so gonna go to Greece one day! The ocean/sea is awesome, the people look good (HAHA), and the whole ambience is so……FANTASTIC. Love it love it love it! Couldnt stop laughing at the scenes where Pierce Brosnan sang ABBA songs. Just really weird. Probably too used to seeing him kissing Bond girls (who are hot and YOUNG) as opposed to seeing him kiss Meryl Streep (who isnt very Young,lest Hot).

We did start singing humming to the songs. They’re ssoooo not my era, but i love ABBA! Really worth watching, i would say. Its good to know the songs too! Then you can sing hum along with the show (:

Anyway, Jon asked a very interesting question tdy. In Mark 14, the story is told of Peter walking on water. In verse 30, it says “Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”

How does someone “see the wind”?

Left for home after a really fun/good/meaningful convo with him at Starbucksss. Had tuition at 8pm and the kid’s mum asked if i could teach both the current boy and his brother next year. HMM still thinking if i’ll have the time AND energy. It’ll be “extra money” for me, but not sure if its worth everything else. Ugh, gotta decide soon! Back to school tmr! Loong looonngggg day ahead! But yes, “be excited for school!”
