I have safely arrived in Melbourne ytd. Yes, the city of H1N1 but I know I have the blood of Jesus covering me! What Ps Daniel Foo said during church retreat was a really an “answer” to my fears of this quite scary virus – “Pray for God to sanctify every single morsel of food ,every drop of water and nullify any form of viruses”! Whoo!
Ele and I visited theOld Melbourne Gaol. It was freakkkyyy! It’s basically an old prison that closed down not too long ago. So we walked through rows and rows of prison cells which were really tiny! Like prison break! They even had a court yard of which we had our picnic sandwich there.
* I want to upload pictures but wordpress is being a meanie! *
Okay I shall stop here since it’ll be super wordy if I continue. So yes, I’m alive and kicking! The weather has been goody good. Friends, pls pray for ele and me for protection agst any danger! Love ya’ll!

Went out with the best friend today for a very relaxing day with her. Much needed catch up
Did facial before meeting her and it hurt like crap this time.. I don’t know why. What happened to the relaxing facials!!
Went down to Brow House at Wheelock to do eyebrow threading! First time.. It was really painful too! And Pris said ” just get the whole face over and done with in a day”. Haha so true.
Went down to FarEast to do my Pedicure and her Manicure. Thanks for the treat Pris!
Came out really lovely. Envy Pris who has the nice dark skin and so can use all the girly pinky colours. My toe nails are a dark brown which I love as well. But a nice girly pinky colour would be nice some time too. Hee. Headed down (we had to run because we were late!! Out of breath climbing up escalators) to Shaw after all that to catch Ghosts of Girlfriends’ past! Whoo! Love the show man. So many near-crying moments. So intense. I Like!
Great day, great company! Thanks Babe!
BUT now, I’m having this unsettling, “unpeaceful” feeling inside me, which is not the best feeling to have a day before an MOE interview. I feel so reluctant to go suddenly. I need to pray!
I think I’m feeling some sort of afraid? After last year’s interview in CHINESE. It’s like a phobia kinda thing. Like how I failed my driving the first time, and the next time I went for another test, I was sooo nervous, I failed again -_-
And I miss Jonathan Wong…
Anyhoos, went ice skating with some of the youths on Sunday. Awesomeeeee!

OH and saturday’s “Youth Service” was a BLASTTTTT!
God is really goodddddd! Fantastic time of worship and ushering team was greattt! Although we have no idea where the leftover door gifts disappeared to. LOL!

Door Gifts

Worship time!

The crazy band. Unglam shots of charis will soon be on Facebook..

The loves

And finallyy, the one LOVE. Haha
Its gonna be a long holiday for the both of us. One in Perth, one in Melb. Like what Ele would say “wah, funfair ah”. Yea, very funfair.

oh FYI, we have a total of 4 carebears in the lovely Honda Fit now.Feel free to add on to the carebear collection. HAHAHAHA.
Lord, I’m gonna put tmr’s interview into your hands. If its your will, Please let it go smoothly such that they don’t give me chinese language specialisation again… Amen!
And Jonathan Wong, can you quickly come back?

This has been one of the more “exciting” birthdays, with many consecutive days of going out with friends and eating ALOT of pasta.. i don’t know why.
Someone just complained that my blog has too few pictures and alot of words SO to please her, i shall put pictures but don’t complain OKAY. Zz. Hehe.
Shall start with my pre-birthday celebration. On Sunday, Jon da man took me out to Sentosa where we had dinner @ The Cliff (Click!). Its a superbly awesome, romantic, chill-out, enjoy-the-scenery, enjoy-the-company kinda place. Absolutely love it!! The whole ambience is very suited for couples who need a time to really really chill and enjoy the whole romantic + semi outdoor setting. It’s quiet but not to the extend that you have to whisper when you talk to each other ( or i wldnt have survived the night ), so its really a very comfortable setting to relax and rest your mind ( apart from the time u order your food cos all the words look very chim. Heh )

Wine glass with no wine and STILL water. heh.

Appetizer 1
(Appetizer 2 + 3 has no pictures cos we devoured the smoke salmon and some chef’s complimentary before we rmbed that we wanted to take photos.)

My “John Dory” + broccoli in tempura. Veg was awesome ( I should ask my Mum to try cooking it like that) and fish had quite a unique taste-like dory wrapped in sausage??

Jon da man and his “Char-grilled Tasmanian Lamb Rack” (super duper yummy)
The yellow giant thing is some crisp polenta (cheese) which is uber shiok with the cedar mash potatoes. Needless to say, the lamb was the best. Tender, juicy and everything else lah.

And they gave me a birthday cakeeee
So pretty horrrr!
*At this point, i feel tired from putting up all these pictures alr. HAHA but i shall continue…*
On the 8th of June itself, Jon and I brought the kiddos to the ZOO!! Yay yay yay! Havent been there in ages and was really really looking forward to the trip. The whole car trip there, the girls were entertained by the 3 car bears (now 4) in the car and singing to the songs of Superhero by Hillsongs Kids. Super cute!

i think this photo is very cute. .Hee

*At this point, the photos cant upload!!*

The boat ride that left us abit bored cos there was really nothing to see. Heh.
Anyhows, that was the day at the zoo
Was really tiring, but really thank God for the wonderful weather! Was perfect.
Came home, Ivan was back home and the 3 of us crashed to sleep (aftn nap) before going for dinner at the Botanic Gardens.
